Seth Palmer family

Seth PALMER family, ca.1900. The family were Brethren, as can be seen by their plain dress and the bonnets on the women. The only Palmer daughter died before 1900. It is possible that the unidentified young woman is Mary (by then married to Frank WARREN) and was not plain like the rest of her family.

A note on the back of the copy says that Christian NELSON identified the people in the photo. The names of Owen and Earl were apparently switched on the label, as the boy seated at far right is clearly some years older than the one in the middle.
